ANCHOR FOR "BUSINESS"The Business and Technology department at
Platte County High School strives to prepare students for the vast opportunities available in the business and technological worlds. We offer specialized instruction to educate students for careers in business including the accounting, advertising, financing, and technology industries. Our technology courses expose students to careers in Web Design, Computer Programming, Multimedia, and Graphic Design. Our ultimate goal is to prepare students to become responsible citizens, capable of making the economic and technical decisions that will benefit their personal and professional lives. Students considering future study in business or computer technology should enroll in as many courses as possible in their high school years. |

MISSION & GOALS
The mission of the Platte County Business Department is to enable students to understand and apply
business, marketing, management, and entrepreneurial principles; to make rational economic decisions; and to
exhibit social responsibility in a global economy.
Through completing our coursework with its emphasis on project-based and practical experiences, our students will be better able to:
